Hello, I’m Jenna Hong,
a Product Designer, focusing on user-centred solutions and critical thinking to address the needs of all users, including those who feel marginalised in our society.
I am a Product Designer based in London, UK. I graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London, with a Distinction in MA in Design: Expanded Practice Interactions & Engagements. Before this, I achieved a Merit in BA in Ceramic Art and Design and Metal Art and Design from Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and spent time studying Jewellery Design at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
During my studies, I have experienced a diverse range of design fields, incorporating both Interaction Design and Craft Design, across Korea, Italy, and the UK. I have also developed design skills using tools such as Figma and XD for UX/UI design and Rhino and Blender for 3D design. I believe the most important part of being a product designer is constantly learning, which means thinking carefully about each design decision and continually trying to understand how users experience products.
My goal is to be a digital product designer, solving problems with user-centred solutions, my can-do attitude and my critical thinking skills. I want my products to be inclusive, reaching individuals who may feel alienated or unable to participate in wider society.
